About Me
I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Education, Concentration in Applied Linguistics. Prior to teaching, I used to work in Singapore's public sector. Besides teaching EFL students, I'm also having fun learning about data science and its applications in linguistics. I'm still developing my areas of expertise, but some of my research interests include validity issues related to language testing and assessment, bi-/multilingual cognition, and corpus linguistics. Currently, I'm looking into applying machine learning techniques to solve some of the problems associated with vocabulary learning and assessment. I'll be adding stuff here as I update my progress, so stay tuned!
